Dama Fortuna Tequila Blanco
Our aim with Dama Fortuna is to share the authentic beauty and terroir of the Highlands of Jalisco. The distillery – Casa Loy, NOM 1633 – sits on a plateau at Ayotlán, at 4,500–6,000 ft.
The rich volcanic soil of the family’s 7,400-acre estate feeds the agave, which takes eight to
ten years to mature, and filters the well water used for distillation and bottling.
100% estate grown, distilled and bottled. No additives. No chill filtration. Every production
step is printed on the back label – full transparency is the point.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Subtle sweetness first, deeper agave just behind it.
Left to breathe, ground black pepper and a hint of citrus shine
through.
Palate: Thick and chewy. An initial chocolate creaminess
fades to earthy agave with hints of wood spice. Very clean and
balanced.
Finish: Lingering honey sweetness mid-palate, with a
touch of saltiness on the tip of the tongue.
